The new European project, 'New Skills for nearly Zero Energy Building' (NS4nZEBs), seeks to address the current disparities between present energy performance skills and those that are becoming more and more essential for the future. Its objective is to augment the count of building experts who possess competence in PVs, smart electrical systems, heat pumps and hydrogen technologies, throughout all phases of design, operation and maintenance.
To accomplish this objective, novel and current instructional practices and curricula will be refined and produced, and credentialing courses for construction experts will be enhanced. Engaged stakeholders will construct feedback systems, guaranteeing that training programmes and curricula are pertinent to the job market and integrate emerging skills.
