Enhancing Skills for Renewable Energy in Buildings |
The use of renewable energy and digital technologies in the building sector is heavily emphasized in the relevant EU Directives and Regulations. These technologies play a crucial role in achieving a fully decarbonized building stock by 2050 and addressing the energy crisis in Europe.
|
Project Objective
The NS4nZEBs project aims to tackle existing mismatches between current skills and future demands in the building sector. By increasing the number of skilled building professionals in fields such as PVs, smart electrical systems, heat pumps, and hydrogen technologies, the project strives to facilitate the transition towards (nearly) Zero Energy Buildings and renewable-based heating and cooling solutions.

Project Approach
This objective will be achieved through the development of new training methods, upgrading existing curricula, and offering qualification courses for professionals across the building value chain. Stakeholder involvement ensures that training programs remain relevant to the labor market and adapt to emerging skills.
