SEC

Sofia Energy Centre (SEC) was established in 1997 as a successor of European Community Energy Centre Sofia (established 1992) and has gained a lot of experience in the implementation of different European energy projects in Bulgaria. During its activity period the company has been involved very successfully in PHARE, THERMIE, SYNERGY, SAVE, ALTENER, FP4, FP5, FP6,FP7, IEE, ERASMUS, INTERREG, HORIZON 2020 projects and actions.
In order to ensure the best possible response to different project requirements, SEC has established a small permanent co-ordination team of highly qualified experts and involves relevant specialists depending on the projects’ specifics.

CRES

The Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving (CRES) is a non-profit entity founded in 1987, supervised by the Ministry of Environment & Energy. It is the National Centre for Coordination in the fields of Renewable Energy Sources (RES), Rational Use of Energy (RUE) and Energy Saving (ES), its primary goal being the research and promotion of RES/RUE/ES applications at a national and international level, as well as the support of related activities, taking into consideration the principles of sustainable development.
